Foundation – This class will provide you the foundational techniques associated with breath work, postural alignment, and the ground work for strength and mobility. Foundation is open to all levels. It is an excellent place to begin a yoga practice and for others, it provides an opportunity to return to the basics, creating a deeper connection to your practice.
Mindful Morning Practice – This is a morning practice designed to start your day off on the right foot. While participating in this mindful movement practice you will experience postures that will create strength, energy and balance while inspiring you to make healthy choices that promote total body wellness over the course of the day.
Peaceful Yin – “Peaceful Yin” Yoga is suitable for all levels and invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This style of class uses props as needed such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to invite slowly opening physically and energetically. Gentle poses will be held for several minutes each, helping you to connect your body and mind while finding a sense of deep relaxation and release.
Ashtanga Blueprint – For both new and experienced students, Ashtanga Blueprint is an excellent introduction to the traditional Primary Series, breaking down traditional postures with focus on alignment and strength while incorporating mindful breath and Meditation.
Build and Breathe – A multilevel class incorporating sun salutations, standing, and seated postures focused on alignment and breath. Come prepared to build some heat and have fun! As always, modifications are offered to meet the needs of all participants wishing to attend.
Yoga Wind Down – All levels class centered on unwinding the body and mind from the activities of the week, while incorporating gentle yoga postures to improve strength, mobility and balance.
Yoga Kinship – This class is an invigorating 75 min moderate intensity hatha yoga class based on the Hot 26 & 2 series. This warm class consists of two sets of each posture in static holds, to help increase cardiovascular endurance. This practice uses strength, balance, and technique. The use of blocks and straps are welcome.
Rest & Reset – This class is half yin and half yoga nidra – the ultimate REST & RESET combo. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin promotes an awareness of inner workings through stillness, breath and giving the body time to sink deeper into each posture. The Yin practice allows for more focus on the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia and ligaments—with an aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Yoga nidra is a systematic method of profound relaxation which holistically addresses physiological, neurological, and subconscious needs. Though yoga nidra translates into “yogic sleep”, it is actually a space between wakefulness and sleep. It is a form of deep meditation – with no prior experience needed. Yoga nidra creates a period of true restfulness: free of mental, physical and emotional tension.
Feel Good Flow – This is an all-levels flow designed to strengthen body, mind and spirit. You will follow your breath’s intuition as you glide through a series of warming stretches and dynamic exploration, sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, and cooling shapes, with options to customize your practice along the way. This practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. You’ll leave feeling simultaneously energized and at ease.
