I’ve been a student of Sarah’s teaching for several years. I can’t imagine not doing yoga with Sarah. I always feel safe and grounded. I’ve learned to honor what my body can best do “today”. Learning why to move and hold postures with specific, therapeutic muscle engagement has made a powerful difference in my daily life. Sarah knows my strengths and challenges, so her guidance to me is specific to my body. And I know that I can attend any class level and Sarah will offer modifications. I can work at the intensity that’s right for me. Recently I’ve added the Introduction to Weight Training class. I’m building muscle strength that I can both see and feel. Like the yoga classes, these classes are tailored to the needs of the group and never feel intimidating for this beginner in weight training. I particularly like that the class participants go through the series of classes together and can support one another.
