Yoga at Method Wellness

Therapeutic Yoga is the foundation on which our philosophy, practice, and organization is built. Our studio provides the San Antonio community with avenues for achieving strength, flexibility and mind body wellness. Sarah Eads, primary Yoga Instructor and founder of Method Wellness and Physical Therapy, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your yoga practice, you will find a supportive and therapeutic environment for all levels.

Foundation

This class will provide you the foundational techniques associated with breath work, postural alignment, and the ground work for strength and mobility. Foundation is open to all levels.

Sweat Happens

A multilevel class incorporating sun salutations, standing postures, core training and inversions. Come prepared to build some heat and have fun! As always, modifications are offered to meet the needs of all participants wishing to attend.

Peaceful Yin

“Peaceful Yin” Yoga is suitable for all levels and invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin is yoga at its deepest, quietest, stillest moments. This style of class uses props as needed such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to invite slowly opening physically and energetically. Gentle poses will be held for several minutes each, helping you to connect your body and mind while finding a sense of deep relaxation and release.

Mindful Morning Practice

This is a morning practice designed to start your day off on the right foot. While participating in this mindful movement practice you will experience postures that will create strength, energy and balance while inspiring you to make healthy choices that promote total body wellness over the course of the day.
